    Tape and Motion Picture Film

    Restoration of video tape and film footage. Quality of finished project depends on the quality of the recording you bring. Things like 2nd generation copies of tape, bad tape storage and slow tape recording speed will have a detrimental effect on the finished project.

    VHS, Beta, Super-VHS, Super-Beta, Video8, Hi-8, Digital-8, Mini-DV tape.

    $40 per hour of finished footage on a USB drive.

    Laser-Disc also available. Price includes audio and color restoration. DVD copy $25 each.

    8mm, Super-8 and 16mm motion picture film.

    $0.50 per foot ($25 for 3 inch reel).

    Super 8 and 8mm and 16mm film now in 1080p High Definition. Price includes color correction and background music that is individually created for each video. 


    DVD $25 or Blu-Ray $30 per disc.

    BetaCam, Betacam SP, Digi-Beta, U-Matic, DVC-PRO, DVCAM tapes.

    $50.00 per hour of completed footage on USB drive.

    All other formats (any reel to reel video tape), the pricing depends on tape type, reel size, etc. Includes audio and color restoration, custom titles. DVD includes custom packaging,  DVD copy $25 . 

    PAL,SECAM,NTSC-J international VHS tape to NTSC

    $50 per hour of completed footage on USB drive.

    Price includes audio and color restoration, custom titles. DVD copy $25 each.

    Repair and/or stabilization of tape.

    $25 per process.

    Splicing of broken tape and/or stabilization to correct for tape deterioration, also known as "sticky shed syndrome". The tape stabilizing process is temporary and lasts approximately 14 days, therefore your tape must be digitized after it is stabilized.

    Ask about bulk discounts for large projects. We cannot handle partial tapes or films. To prevent excessive wear on our equipment we can only handle an entire tape or reel of film.
