Quality of finished project depends on the quality of the recording you bring. Things like 2nd generation copies of tape, bad tape storage and slow tape recording speed will have a detrimental effect on the finished project.
Formats include: records (16,33, 45 & 78 rpm), reel to reel, 8-track, cassettes, stereo micro cassette, muntz-4 track and fideli-pak broadcast cartridges. And many more.
Price includes "pop and click" removal for records or "hiss" removal for tapes. Audio is sweetened to the maximum enhancement, that the original audio allows. $25 per CD. Applies only to recordings in stereo/mono, for multichannel recordings see below.
Remaster and remix of multitrack tape or quadraphonic record, price depends on number of tracks and other technical issues. Quadraphonic recordings are re-mastered in surround sound.
Splicing of broken tape and/or stabilization to correct for tape deterioration, also known as "sticky shed syndrome". The tape stabilizing process is temporary and lasts for approximately 14 days therefore your tape must be digitized immediately after for best results.
